  1. Investigate the markets when choosing where to search.
  2. Buy or steal the magic lamp. If you steal it, tell Ligia the truth.
  3. Give her the lamp when asked. The player reports that she requests recruitment after her father recovers.

Community source: Steam reply #7, August 10; checked September 16, 2026. A September 5 reply (#14) could not reproduce the island alternative. This route does not promise you can keep the lamp or require a rewind.

Current-build note

Official patch 1.0.8 fixed a Ligia questline bug that could repeatedly show the same item-search choice. That fix improves route reliability, but it does not confirm the full recruitment trigger. Update the game before retrying a stuck scene.
