1. At Chester's audience, ask about the smell and accept The Clean Keeper Goose part 1. Send Angelica.
2. Accept The Clean Keeper Goose part 2 and use the clue table below.
3. At the final audience, discuss the goose feeling lonely, then welcome Chester to the round table. Avoid ending with "You're Welcome".

The official 1.1.1 notes fix a progression block caused by using Omni-Forward while Chester is a witness during Epicrates's trial. If that scene froze or stopped advancing, update and reload from before the trial. This fix does not change or confirm Chester's recruitment steps above.
